This annual tournament is the Americas Computer Chess Championships. It is a Pan-American tournament. This tournament is open to all authors and authorized operators in the Pan-American (living there or Citizens of). That is any program from Greenland to Antartica. It is our "end of the season" tournament which is planned as a face to face over the board tournament. The tournament will also be held over the internet for those that can't travel and for spectators.
Also, ranking in this tournament decides which programs are eligible for the Americas Computer Chess Team. This team plans to challenge a "Rest of the World" team in a team match near the end of each year.
